Hand dyed with banmara leaves by Ajay, exclusively for this piece, in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Banmara (Eupatorium cannabium Linn) is a medicinal plant that can be applied for the treatment of cuts and wounds.

Local people in Nepal also use Banmara as natural fertilizer and its root juice is used for the treatment of fever.

“Ban” means forest and “mara” killer.

Banmara leaves were collected by Kavita in Mulpani village.

Please be aware of the unevenness and the irregularities in the dye.

This piece presents two side inseam pockets and one back patch pocket with button. Elasticated waist. High rise. Flat felled seams.

Lightweight and extremely comfortable.

One size. Very loose fit. Recommended for a small to medium frame for a comfortable fit. Size is mainly determined by the waist measurement (it can be easily adjusted at the seamstress if need be).

Wear it preferably in mild to warm weather conditions.

Individually hand cut by Binod and stitched by Sangita and Kavita in Kathmandu, Nepal.
